Request for human body pose tracking

This is a feature request for 3D human body pose tracking, I have seen a similar feature in ARKit through Unity AR Foundation and there is a lot of demand from our clients at work for cross-platform human 3d body tracking in AR. Having this feature in ARCcore would open many doors to new application possibilities, especially around avatars in AR, filter effects and exercise guidance.

Is there anything already in the works for this?

Currently we are using the MediaPipe in Unity repo from https://github.com/homuler/MediaPipeUnityPlugin to use similar functionality with 2d full body pose tracking that we can interpolate, however the lack of 3d space there is a hindrance to the full potential of body tracking in AR on android.
