Are their any Samples which work with ARKit?

Open amitahire opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

Hello,

I cant seem to find any samples which work with ARKit. I compile and run on iPad and it open this page (https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2018/06/ar-for-the-web#examples) in a webview. But none of the WebXR samples work on the device.

Am I missing something here? I havnt had the time to delve in the code yet.

Thanks.

Examples in the repo three.ar.js should work. As this project is no longer being actively maintained, the official links have been removed from the arcore dev site.

We are working on a replacement for this project.

Hello @judax. Do you have news and possibly some links about the replacement for WebARonARCore and WebARonARKit projects? The latest info I have is this article https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2018/06/ar-for-the-web explaining how to use the WebXR API in Chrome Canary for an Android device supporting ARCore.
