Cannot get it to work!

Hi

I have connected my Rasperry to a ct63 E GSM modem via RS232. I have set baudrate to 57600, flowcontrol to none. I can communicate with my pc through a USB to RS232 cabel - but if I try to issue the testSerial.php on my Rasperry i get CPIN OK - but Sent Error - and then the communication hangs ??
