unresponsive: new transparent and antialiases draw trace fault?

Since the new transparent and antialiased (smoothed borders) drawing trace, the extension is sometimes unresponsive for half a second (the draw but also the text in the status bar feel delayed)

Most of the time, the draw feels less responsive anyway.

For testing purpose, disabling the drawing seems to totally fix the unresponsiveness (the current gesture text on the status bar appear immediately once starting a gesture)

Please bring back the faster and almost perfect drawing function (no transparency, no antialias), or maybe make it optional for old computers? (mine is [email protected] GeForce560 DDR2 win7 FF44.0.2)
