I have the same issue. It only occurs if you're logged in. Log out and it works as it should.

Any update on this? For the record, it would be great if the api could be changed manually in the future, so that these problems don't happen.

I'd say that you should try using the WebmanMOD built-in Artemis mode and see if that works.
