Semantic error in sentence

Hi! I think the wording in this sentence is unclear, (in this paragraph):

"With an autonomous component, every change is performed over a granular and smaller scope - the mental overload, development friction, and deployment fear are much smaller and better."

It’s hard to understand how "deployment fear" can be "better."

Maybe this version would be clearer: "...and the fear of deployment is much smaller, making the process smoother."
