Receptiveness to a Responsive Sidebar?

Most other language docs (Elixir/Python/PHP/etc) have a sidebar for desktop layouts, where hyperlinks to functions/methods are also presented in a sidebar for easier navigation.

I think that's a good call. It's kind of annoying to have to jump back to the top to see the list of structs/methods.

Before I get started on this, just want to make sure that this enhancement is not going to run afoul of anyone's religion here.
