I have the same problem. Add my folder, that contains .snippet files, to IndexedSnippetDirectories and it will not load. Also, if I create a new snippet file from visual studio...

Is there any update on this? I am getting the same error.

Technically the current version is encrypting the password but it is also performing an additional base64 encoding on top of the sha-1 encryption of the clear text password. Without looking...
