Wayland Cursor custom Image don't show

  • Reproducible in: Godot 4.3 stable

System information

Godot v4.3.stable (77dcf97d8) - Freedesktop SDK 23.08 (Flatpak runtime) - Wayland - Vulkan (Mobile) - dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti (nvidia) - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2700K CPU @ 3.50GHz (8 Threads)

Issue description

when you set Custom cursor image with display server wayland image don't show

Steps to reproduce

go to project settings Display > Display Server > Driver.linuxbsd set to wayland and go to project settings Display > Mouse cursor > Custom Image > set to any image

Also got the same problem here, both with

  • Gentoo's dev-games/godot-4.3-r1 package
  • v4.3.stable.official.77dcf97d8 packaged in https://ptilouk.itch.io/little-brats 1.0 version

Compositor: gui-wm/sway-1.9-r1

Also running it in X11 mode via XWayland does display the cursor so likely not a problem elsewhere.

Can confirm this still exists on KDE Plasma 6 on Wayland in Arch Linux with Godot v4.3.stable.official [77dcf97d8]

A few months ago I made PR #96973 which should have fixed the issue. Could you try the latest dev snapshot?
