Could you add https://github.com/godotengine/godot/pull/100508 which fixes all the microphone issues I've encountered while working on the twovoip plugin? It's a design tweak that may need consideration from the core team.

Do you think we should weed out the resolved issues to make it easier to get the attention of the audio team on what they need to put onto the agenda? (current meetings are every two weeks and listed on rocketchat.)

While the issues are pretty diverse, there have been quite a bit of audio PRs recently… So we might actually be able to close a handful. And there are several issues that need testing anyway.
Sadly I'm spread pretty thin, so I'll won't have the time to test. But I did update my audio pop issue, that should only require documentation update as a last step
