Artifacts with Emission and SSR enabled
Tested versions
4.5 beta3
System information
Godot v4.5.beta3 - Windows 10 (build 19045) - Multi-window, 1 monitor - Vulkan (Forward+) - dedicated Radeon RX 560 Series (Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.; 31.0.21912.14) - Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 threads) - 15.93 gb memory
Issue description
I see artifacts in rendering when Emission is enabled in the material and SSR is enabled in the environment:
SSR or Emission is disabled:
I believe that these are distorted reflections, in MRP if you turn Roughness to the maximum, the artifacts disappear, but in my project this does not solve the problem. I also tried increasing the reflections and subsurface scattering quality in the project settings, but the distortion is still present.
Steps to reproduce
Open MRP.
Minimal reproduction project (MRP)
I don't have SDFGI or voxel GI enabled so it's unlikely to be a duplicate - #108508
Did you try setting SSR roughness quality to disabled in Project Settings?
Can "sorta" replicate on both v4.6.dev4 and v4.5.1.stable, by which I mean, I'm assuming you're referring to the reddish emission spots on the ball's shadow, which look pixelated when compared to the rest of the scene. (Also seems to be some small differences between the two versions)
I do not know whether this is expected or not, so someone from the rendering team should review.
