One-time Donation Link

I just wanted to give the feedback that you may be doing yourself a significant disservice by not prominently offering an "Or make a one-time donation here!" below the recurring options on your new default funding page. The change occurred in a974fc where all references were switched to only use the fund page.

I can assure you, as someone who does not like recurring payments, others are unlikely to put the same time and effort into searching for your one-time donation option if all links direct to a "fund" page that makes not mention of this option. I understand that you might prefer the stable income of recurring contributions, but making one-time donations difficult is, in my opinion, the worst choice.

At the very least, you may want to consider continuing to direct the "Donate" link in the footer to your normal donation page so that there is a chance people might find it without leaving your site.

That's a fair point, this should be feature somehow in the Fund page.

We do indeed want people to set up a recurring payment in priority if possible, as this gives us more security to budget our payroll -- but one time donations are also great and should be made easy too.

I would personally recommend a plain text link (in slightly smaller font size) to the PayPal donation target with just the text “Or, make a one-time donation.” below the subscription levels on the new donate page. Easy to find, simple and won’t change the overall focus of the page.
