Minwaita-Light-Shell: top bar is fuzzy when no window is maximized

Open jfmcbrayer opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

This is with gnome-shell 3.26.2, on Wayland, on Fedora 27.

When the shell theme is set to Minwaita-Light-Shell, and no window is maximized or touching the top bar, the text and icons on the top bar are blurry/fuzzy. Moving the window slightly toggles between the two states.

EDIT: the fuzzy bar actually looks quite a bit more fuzzy on my screen than it does in the screenshot, which I am guessing is some weird Wayland thing.

I think this is the shadow usually used to increase visibility on the non-classic version where the top bar is transparent. On classic, it forces a gradient background.

Similar or the same bug applies for the minwaita-osx-shell theme. Some indicators on the right are missing their shadows, and sometimes it's as if there were double shadows. The shadows seem to disappear when switching from a maximized window.

don't have a screenshot from the double shadows
