Allow multiple combos for leave and entering vim mode

I like to go to Normal mode with esc and sometimes jj too. But only in certain cases. id like to be able to control the enter and exist keys, separately, as well as provide multiple squences/keys.

for custom workflows you have to use the integration with Karabiner-Elements. you can set up a keyboard shortcut in kV to enter Normal Mode, and you trigger it whenever you want by remapping through KE.

But only in certain cases.

what are those cases? if i don't know it's gonna be hard to give you config examples 😂

again, vague. not sure what you want exactly, but kV exposes variables to KE: https://docs.kindavim.app/integrations/custom-mappings so you can remap according to which mode kV is in. from what i understand from your vague request, you should be able to do what you wanna do through the integration.
