General use video?

Hey! I adore the idea of kindaVim, and am actively a heavy user of Wooshy, in practice I find kindaVim difficult to fit into my everyday workflow. I'm guessing this is just a me thing as the app works like a treat.

That said I'd love to see a general use (...day in the life, if that makes sense?) demo of using kindaVim. I've watched the specific demos on YouTube but seeing how someone familiar with the app (and Wooshy/Scrolla) navigates and uses them in conjunction would be great!

Anyway, thanks so much for all the hard work! ✨

kV is definitely targeted to people using Vim (or Vim motions in other editors). i'd think if you're familiar with Vim motions you'd find the appeal, but if not yeah, definitely not. but maybe i'm wrong?

😁️ i had this on my list for a while. so thanks for bringing this up. i'll up the priority and may come with something soon. personally i definitely use the three apps daily (which is why i built them in the first place). can't use macOS without them anymore!

Anyway, thanks so much for all the hard work! ✨

😅️ 99% pure pleasure. can't wait to spend time building and making them better daily. i have to leave 1% i'm probably biased, but it does feel like 100% pure fun. glad you enjoy them!

I definitely fit into the realm of vim user branching out into using Vim motions in other areas, so target market, aha? I've had hjkl mapped to the arrows on a layer toggle for ages and kV feels like the next evolution to that.

Anyway, to the point at hand - that's wonderful I'll keep an eye out! As I've been spending more time with kV I've been finding it replacing a lot of movement I used to reach to the mouse for (Wooshy as well!).

I hope that day come soon, best of luck out there! And thanks again the fun definitely shows.
