I'm not sure why this would have a priority low. There are all kinds of comments on the WordPress forum about changes from 2.19 to 2.22 adversely affecting websites in different ways. It would seem straightforward to roll back to that version. Then determine if the changes were actually needed how they can be implemented without changing the look and functionality.
