There is no drop-down option in the Form group.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard
  2. LifterLMS > Forms > Edit One of the Forms, as you can see in this screenshot: Screenshot.

Expected Behavior

  • Include a concise description of what you expected to happen (but didn't)
  1. There's should be a dropdown option. It should be like this: With Dropdown.

Actual Behavior

  • Include a concise description of what actually happens (but isn't supposed to)
  1. There's no dropdown option when there's a group in the block form. As you can see on this screenshot: No Dropdown , It should be like this: With Dropdown.

This is due to changes in how WordPress works, and the patterns are Synced by default. Some options are:

  • Avoid using synced blocks for new installs (PR #2643 )
  • Somehow migrate existing forms to not use the patterns inside the Form content, so the dropdowns appear as before
  • Update documentation to tell people to use the Detach menu option in order to make changes
