What did you do?

I am attempting to reinstall ff14 and it continually has errors such as 'cannot verify game files' and one error which had a massive wall of text that I was not able to properly copy paste due to the launcher supposedly hitting a seperate issue and auto-closing upon me hitting OK on it.
