Ctrl+C doesn't kill the server when running Flatpak via console

What did you do?

Installed Flatpak version on Arch Linux.

Ran through flatpak run dev.goats.xivlauncher.

Tried to quit launcher via Ctrl+C in Terminal.

It looks like it closes, shows the prompt but then creates a newline where it just deletes all you type. Keeps running in background.

I have the same, but on mine it's because the update fails and aria2c is still running. manually killing aria2c and the father process spawining it frees the console.
