Reopening of #1232 since VTE bug 76969 was fixed by VTE commit ad377998 and now it's relevancy of tilix and/or gtk-vte package to update bindings/jump to new version

Edit: this is just issue to remind to update VTE bindings, it might not affect some devices, but in current state scroll is not pixel based and it's just deal of updating bindings

+1 this bug is very annoying, I guess tilix needs an update since there was an API change in VTE?

I think this is hardware or drivers issue. In my case, scrolling with the touchpad is smooth and as expected.

I doubt it goes down to hardware or driver, as other apps behave smooth. It may be the lack of calibration or most likely the VTE bug linked. I experience it running on a lenovo thinkpad touchscreen running Devuan testing and budgie desktop.
