ctrl-click should open any highlighted eMail address

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When I write an eMail address into terminator like this: mailto:[email protected] it is highlighted and ctrl-click opens the thunderbird eMail client.

When I write it like this: [email protected] it is highlighted, too, but ctrl-click does not open the eMail client!

In contrast to the latter behaviour, any highlighted URL - with protocol or without - opens the browser!

Describe the solution you'd like I would like to see any highlighted eMail address open the configured eMail client.

Describe alternatives you've considered It would be a workaround - a very tedious one - to always write mailto: in front of any eMail address...
