Geometry hints and a wrong size make the window invisible sometimes
Describe the bug If the geometry hints are set to True and the size is not "correct" according to those hints, sometimes the Terminator window will be invisible. I only notice this when opening Terminator from the taskbar icon (Favorite apps) or from the Applications Menu. Oddly enough, it never happens when opening terminator using a GNOME keybinding.
To Reproduce config It doesn't happen always, like 1 in 15 times. When it happens, the window is responsive, but just invisible. In fact, if I split the terminal using Terminator's keybindings, it appears (but it's very small).
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- Debian 11, GNOME
Additional context
I'm using the newest version to this day, cloned from the repository. I'm almost sure this bug won't work on any released version.
To test this, I moved the file in /usr/bin/terminator
and replaced it with a symlink to the terminator
file in a clone of this repository.
I think it's something like "the size is not perfect, so the window will be 0x0". The fact it only happens when interacting with the GNOME gui is odd, maybe the focus transfer is messing something up.
I'll see if I can fix this later.
