Your Idea

I would love the ability to automatically pause tests at a certain time every day, for a specified length. I game at the same hours every night and can usually notice a short ping spike when the speedtest runs, and I would be alright with just skipping a couple hours to prevent it.

This option could be added to the current "Pause tests" dropdown option. (Pause speedtests every day at: __ for __ hours)

Hm... you could also just do it twice or once a day... There isn't really a need to do speed tests on an hourly bases, remember: Bandwidth (and Energy) is not free.

But a schedule for when MySpeed is paused at an interval doesn't actually sound bad. If you know that you already have bad internet and don't want MySpeed to take up your bandwidth when you need it most, that's a good thing.
