"item" doesn't use a new page with many items - the items overflow after the page

When using lot of items (too many for a single page) in a ecvitemize, they don't go to a new page, but overlap the footer and vanish after the same page. This also happens with standard itemize.

This happens when using "europasscv" documentclass, it works as expected (items continue on a new page) when using for example "article" documentclass.

It would be nice if they can continue on a new page.
