macOS Fixes/Improvements

This PR aims to improve somewhat the macOS experience which is experimental.

Note: There currently exists a bug in macOS or in the RFCOMM backend where the app must initiate the connection to a paired device in order to open an RCOMM socket and receive data. This may or may not be fixed in this PR.
