config?
ok for my sins i've tried it out. i'd like to be able to configure the rate at which the thing flashes at me and reminds me of the intention. or maybe i want it to not do that at all. i did a quick grep for 'settings' and 'config' but couldn't find anything...?
Thanks for trying it out! To answer your question: Nope, there is no configuration yet.
I'd rather try to dial in the values to make them as universal as possible before allowing any configuration options. Maybe the rate of the flashing is just wrong, or maybe the presentation of the intention-reminder text is poorly positioned. (I think both of these things are probably true, and is why #51 is changing the presentation considerably).
In general I'd like to take this approach to preferences: https://ometer.com/preferences.html. If we can get away with zero options that would be ideal.
That said, Pomodouroboros is a highly personalized tool and may ultimately need a higher-than-average number of customization knobs and dials. But I'd really like to carefully examine each one and I will probably provide a lot of resistance to incorporating them until we've exhausted other options :)
I do want to maintain a high standard for simplicity in Pomodouroboros, but, I also don't want to make it too much of a pain to contribute. Just let me know if there's some documentation or other help which would make it easier for you to do something to bring it more into line with what you want.
