Hi. Thanks for the report, guys? Any chance you're using Night Mode? If so, does deactivating/uninstalling the add-on work? It might be sufficient to simply toggle night mode off.

Yes disabling night mode fixes the issue!

Is there any way that popup-dictionary can be used simultaneously with Night Mode? Both great plugins and I'd love to use them in tandem w/o toggling. Thanks for creating this!

Its work with Night Mode : use the menu bar and go to View → Night Mode → Choose what to style and untick Reviewer Cards Enjoy

I still am not able to get the add on to function at all. I made sure to install the latest version, uncheck the reviewer cards in night mode, and when that didn't work I just tried disabling it and it still didn't work at all. I'm using anki version Version 2.1.13 (3ba55990) Qt 5.12.1 PyQt 5.11.3

I am also affected. The title of this report should be actually Incompatibility with Night mode. It would be easier to find it among other bug reports.

When Reviewer Cards option in Night mode is disabled pop-up dictionary works fine for me. Version 2.1.15 (442df9d6) Qt 5.12.1 PyQt 5.11.3
