Ability to search through specific decks using keyboard shortcuts
Not an issue per se as I don't think it's a functionnality. I begin using this add-on recently and it's really great but I have a small problem and I wonder if there is a easy solution. Forgive me if my post don't belong here, I didn't know where to turn.
So my problem is that I have pretty big decks, containing mostly sentences. I have another small deck which contains definition of certains words (not meant to be learn but to be searched if needed). I set the searching zone on all my decks, to not be limited to only the current one.
But now, when I need to search a world, the pop_up shows way too much and the definition is lost among them.
So I just want to know :
- Can we assign a special shortcut (like ctrl + O for example) to search just one specific deck while keeping the original option (ctrl + D) to search through all of them ?
- Or can we specify one way or another to always show first the result of one specific deck ?
I don't know anything in programming so I don't know if my request is out of reach...
PS : english is not my native language blablabla so forgive me for errors ! PS2 : Biggest thank to the developer for creating so many wonderful add-on. Just beginning to use them and they're great ! Will definitely buy you a meal or else sometime !
My version of Anki is still 2.0 and I'm operating on windows.
Hey @Landern61,
Sorry for taking so long to respond. I completely missed your post.
I appreciate your taking the time to post this suggestion. I think it could be quite useful to have the ability to quickly look up a term in different decks. At the moment this is not possible with the add-on, but I added your idea to the feature wishlist.
Thanks also for your kind words! I'm happy you found my add-ons to be helpful :)
