Copying an occlusion to clipboard should not activate the windows chime. Pasting an occlusion should automatically change the program into the 'Mouse pointer' mode from the occlusion mode.

Thanks again for the report. I can't reproduce the chime issue on Linux (by chime you mean the "ding" sound, right?), but I will give this another try on my Windows test system soon.

As for the mouse pointer not changing modes, I can reproduce this here. It's probably related to #54 which is an upstream issue with SVG edit.
