2 images (one masked, the other not) on the front of the card

Problem description

I add an image, add a mask ,and create the card. When i click Study now to study the card, the occluded image appears above and the image without any occlusions is just below it, essentially showing question and answer on the front of the card.

i have uninstalled and re-installed the add-on multiple times. this issue occurred with the older version of anki and with the current one. i don't understand the codes that appear on the left, but i tried changing stuff a bit and i wasn;t successful in fixing the issue
