Cannot save the Anki card with current image occlusion setting

If Line 1: ID (hidden) is deleted or altered, the card can be saved, but then future image occlusion will not work.

I am facing the same problem. add on is not usable for me at the moment...

@langara99 I got the solution... For my part I was just to dumb to follow the exact instructions of the tutorial video. You do not add the image occlusion cards like a normal card. It works like this:

  • Copy the Image you like to work with
  • Open the Staple you want to add it in an click "add"
  • open the image occlusion editor via the >little symbol< (no need to change the card type) grafik
  • then set up your wanted boxes
  • don't forget to edit your fields like "header" etc. ("Fields" top left corner) -> and as soon as you click one of the options "hide all, guess one" etc. your cards are added. grafik thats it - now you can close all open masks or do another one by clicking the >little symbol<
