Convert replica 2 to volume with thin-arbiter

Description of problem: Thin-arbiter was one of the better options that gluster added during development. In the company where I work, we use gluster to store various data and the number of volumes we have is measured in the hundreds. We made all the new volumes to be thin-arbiter volumes, but it is quite difficult to transfer old replica 2 volumes to such a mode of operation. This involves creating a new volume and copying terabytes of data, which is quite a demanding job.

Is there is a possibility to add conversion replica 2 volumes into a volume with thin-arbiter.. As an additional option, it would be possible to replace the thin-arbiter with an arbiter with a different address, just as the volume itself can change bricks, it would be good if thin-arbiters could do the same.

In fact a replication to dispersion expansion would also be natural, as you grow your Gluster infra and scale up, or down...

But I'm afraid unless someone is volunteering or sponsoring, this won't happen.
