Encryption options
Describe your feature request I am looking for options in how FSNotes handles password-protected notes in such a way that they can still be accessed via Hookmark links.
Additional context The way FSN notes can be linked via Hookmark is very good news, but there is a problem if the notes are password-protected. For reasons which I will not expand on here, these are just the notes I do want to link to. The problem is two-fold: a) FSN (rightly) scrambles the title of an encrypted note, b) The Hookmark script will not incorporate the scrambled title into a link, but copies only the prefix to a full note link (fsnotes://find?id=). If the scrambled title or part of it is manually pasted after that truncated link, the link will work and conduct a search in FSN that does find the scrambled note. It is then up to the user to supply the password and open it.
I can see why it might be a good security measure to default to not copying the note title, but I would very much like it if this could be a user choice. Enabling a user to follow a link to an encrypted note with a scrambled title would not be exposing any information unless the password could be supplied. The Hookmark script cannot discriminate between plain and encrypted notes, so I am assuming that the response from FSN to "Copy title" or "Copy URL" only works for plain notes. Is this something that could be adapted? Thank you.
