Add ability to set size of new windows

Open dylanseeger opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Describe your feature request Every time I open a note in a new window, the first thing I do is resize it, as the default is too wide for my taste. It would be nice if one could choose their preferred window size, either via an explicit setting or ideally by remembering after I change it once.

Additional context macOS only.

If it's not remembering for you there's a problem we need to figure out.

It remembers on my setup.

@gingerbeardman Your installation remembers window size for external windows (⌘O)? Mine has never shown this ability.

Oh, sorry! I was talking about the main window.

I can confirm new windows do not remember size (I've never used this feature 😅)

No worries! I use it daily and wide windows make me irrationally unsettled.
