Cannot search note for unchecked boxes

Description

Searching all notes for [ ] works, but searching within the current note does not.

To Reproduce

  1. New note
  2. Type - [ ] report
  3. Toggle Preview on and off again
  4. Hit ⌘-F
  5. Type [ ]

One hit

Additional context

You won't be able to reproduce this without toggling the preview, because that will replace the brackets with an actual box.

Any WYSIWYG features added to a Markdown source editor necessarily come with hairy warts. Personally I'd prefer them not to exist, and should probably add a request to make this one a preference.
