Feature request: disable all syntax highlighting (including URLs)

As an end user, it would be nice to be able to write in distraction-free plain text and not have my text highlighted, colored, underlined, linked, etc. Can we get a preferences option to turn off automatic URL formatting and linking? A compromise might be to hold down a modifier key (option/alt maybe) to highlight links and make them clickable.

That could be a good idea especially if the app continues to get new features, to prevent it from becoming like typical markdown editors. This app still has the plain text feel & should keep it. Especially since it has a markdown preview mode, it should be like how code editors show markdown: mostly plain text, but in some editors like VSCode you can option/alt-click urls. Also, this would avoid a lot of bugs (think about all the open issues regarding edit mode syntax errors like tags and headings)
