Really "kill" process to reduce more ram

Are there plans to "kill" really the page in question (like the chrome task manager). This increase network traffic when reloading, but would reduce the maximum memory consumption.

TabMemFree doedsn't appear to be working on my machine. I updated chrome and removed/added the extension again but this doesn't appear to help. How can I fix this?
