Utilise formal Design Tokens

Description

The Figma variable and design system is very thorough already but it would be great to take it further by aligning it with emerging standards.

The likes of Style Dictionary and Tokens Studio are doing good work to present alignment with the W3C papers.

It would be great if the Figma template aligned its variables to these standards and therefore could be easily exported to structured JSON files for consistency and better design hand off. See how the Tokens Studio plugin supports JSON export or syncing with most cloud repo services.
