Bug description

[Fri Nov  7 10:14:43 2025][error] [http client] unexpected content, starting with:
<!DOCTYPE html>

my config points to... [Fri Nov 7 10:15:26 2025][info] target server0: next run: Fri Nov 7 11:13:45 2025 - https://glpi_new.domain.pt/plugins/glpiinventory/

also tried with https://glpi_new.domain.pt/marketplace/glpiinventory/

always same error.. this is a fresh GLPI Instalation with zero configuration changes.. looks like there are allot of people with the same issue from what i saw on GLPI Forum

Check GLPI logs. Also remember to activate inventory, and check relevant configuration.

All that is done, reply from the server to the inventory is always:

This issue may be caused by the presence of spaces in a PHP file (with the opening <?php tag).

Can you try again by disabling all plugins (except glpiinventory)?

Also check your configuration file (config_db.php):

  • no space before <?php
  • no closing PHP tag
