Replace componentWillReceiveProps with componentDidUpdate

Fixes #87

I'm not sure if this is the "correct" way to get rid of componentWillReceiveProps, in #87 you mention getDerivedStateFromProps but this way just seemed easier to me.

I have only tested that this works properly in my projects. Please let me know if there is something my PR is missing!
