Request: Virtual PTZ

it would be great if the plugin could be used as a Virtual PTZ on normal camera inputs, videos and still images..

for example you have a 4k camera pointed at a stage and you can "zoom" in to 1080/720, and then pan & tilt around the image showing close ups across both side of the stage etc.. this means zoom becomes a crop, but if you are streaming at 1080 or 720 the quality can still look ok from a 4k camera.. this feature would also be helpful with re framing and panning across still images of even higher resolutions..
