Co-maintainers wanted
This project is built and maintained 100% voluntarily. There is no company spending money on it, and everybody working on it is also busy with other projects. We can use your help keeping this project healthy if you can participate as a maintainer. This is a "commitment" to optionally be involved in:
- Code reviewing PRs
- API change discussions
- Pushing PRs in the right direction
- Merging PRs that are obviously good to go
With your help, we can slowly iterate towards the best SSH server building library on the planet. If you're interested, join our Slack and say hi in the #golang channel.
I would be interested in contributing to this.
Awesome! I should send people to Slack instead. See updated link above in the description.
I entered my email address to get an invite to join http://slack.gliderlabs.com/ but the page seems stuck, its not really doing anything, after clicking on "Get My Invite"
So, how do I join the slack channel ?
I invited you manually just now. Let me know if you don't see anything in your email soon. I used the email on your GitHub account.

I am interested also!
Are you still looking for contributors?
Hey Jeff (@progrium) I'll happily help out, but I don't want to join Slack :)
Hi, @progrium , the domain doesn't appear to be valid anymore. Is there any space to discuss the project?
@Mohammed90 I'm still around here - I'm happy to respond to issues and PRs, though I don't have access to add people. That would be the first step for getting added as a collaborator anyway. Anything specific you were wondering about?

Great. Sorry I wasn't sure how available the maintainers are in this area as opposed to chat medium.
I've found a gap in the handling of ServerConfigCallback. The fix (in my opinion) is small. I'll shoot the tiny PR later and we can have a discussion on the merits.
I'm working on a project that needs every corner of this library, so I expect more work and conversations to come. That's why I asked about the Slack space.
@Mohammed90 If you've got stuff you want to discuss, feel free to ping me on Libera IRC. I'm always idling, but not always connected to that, but I can try to keep it open more if I know people have stuff they want to talk about.
I also respond to email, which you can pull from my profile or any commit I've made.
Just saw your PR - I'm taking a look now.
@progrium Hi,
We have built a open-source platform for SSH remote access (https://github.com/shellhub-io/shellhub) on top of gliderlabs/ssh, so we are interested in supporting this project.
I've also contributed to the project before and would like to be a co-maintainer of this project.
@belak @bradfitz thoughts? sounds good to me
Seems like a good idea to me too!
Cool, adding and closing this.
