Takeover the project

Unfortunately, this project seems left in an abandoned state now, it's very sad because it's really useful and well designed. For my personal use I made my docker image based on Alpine 3.14 and fixed some issues like overlay networks and Consul script check. As I'm not a programmer I want to ask if someone is interested to fork the project and make a group to further develop the project.

I assume that a lot of users are interested in a supported fork.

If folks want commit bit, let me know and i can grant them it. I don't think a fork is needed, we just need folks interested in maintaining it.

Hello! I guess I'm one of the users (and programmer) that found this project interesting and useful. I just made a PR (#708) to update go, alpine and other minor stuff. Long story short, if help is needed in maintaining it, I think I can help.
