Applying CPU limits to logspout

We are running logspout with logstash adapter in production for a while. Occasionally, we see problems with logspout container taking up around 30%- 40% CPU. We have 6 CPU on each Host where the logspout container is running.

This becomes more pronounced when the application containers on the host are running on full capacity. We suspect that the logspout may hinder the performance of the application containers.

Has anyone here had experience with this kind of issue ?

I am going ahead with applying CPU limits to the Logspout container, and check for myself.

Did applying CPU limits help here? What version of logspout are you using? Do you run any 3rd party adapters?
