Fix deprecated diagnostics api

0.6 release deprecated vim.api.diagnostics in favour of vim.diagnostics. See this link for details

Is there any reason why this can't be merged rn? It's a bit disruptive for my status line to always say that there's a deprecation warning. Would love to be able to not have this happen!

I am pointing packer to this patch and it works wonderfully, thanks. The last commit in main is from Apr 25, 2021, so maybe this won't get merged anytime soon.
