Awareness of supported IDE/SCSI device subtypes by platform

When setting the subtype of a SCSI or IDE controller (OVF.set_scsi_subtype(), OVF.set_ide_subtype()), it might be nice to validate whether the given controller subtype is known to be supported by the platform represented by this OVF.
