animation when switching between wide and slim width pages

currently switching between slim and wide pages is a bit awkward as the navbar also moves, an animation would be nice to have

Hey, rather than adding an animation which wouldn't fully fix the issue, I'll add a desktop-navigation-width property so that you can set the width of the navigation independently of the width of the content, that way you can set the navigation width to be the same across all pages.
