Any updates? Firenvim is an awesome tool, but the fact that I use Google Docs frequently prevents me from using it. :((((

No updates.

The workaround is to disable Firenvim in the tab where you use Google Docs (Firenvim button next to your browser's URL bar > disable in this tab) or to disable Firenvim permanently on google docs (read this to understand how to configure Firenvim for a single website and this to learn how to disable firenvim).
