Messages to non-OMEMO clients in OMEMO-enabled MUCs

Apparently messages to non-OMEMO clients in OMEMOE enabled MUCs silently get dropped by lurch+pidgin. In my eyes, this is a very bad user experience.

According to a friend who uses Adium on Mac OS (with the lurch OMEMO plugin), he gets notifications that messages aren't sent to the particular non-OMEMO participants. Any idea, why this doesn't happen with Pidgin?

As far as I know, the Adium plugin does not add any functionality, so it should be working for you too (and in fact I remember implementing this). Can you tell me what the debug log looks like when that happens?

I would guess this is related to the removal of the fallback body from #57.
