[Feature Request] password-protected nodes

Hi,

at first... Thank you for your great work! I am using cherrytree regulary and i'm very glad that i found such a cool tool for my personal information management :-)

One suggestion from myself: For me it would be great to have single nodes / sub-nodes to be password-protected. For example if i have a single cherrytree-file, where i mix private and work-related information.

Maybe this would be interesting for others, too?

Definitely useful - I use this capability extensively in OneNote for similar reasons; it would make a great addition to CherryTree

I've been looking for this feature as well. However I see that the feature request was created back in 2017. Still it's 2022 now and the feature hasn't been implemented yet. Can we hope for its implementation?

Just checking in, was looking to password protect a node today and don't see the option.
